OCTOBER

Trails Day at Pineridge
Saturday 10/27    9am - noon


*Help clear trails of limbs and debris from summer storms while hiking our trails
*Work together with Pineridge staff and friends of Pineridge
*Lunch and refreshments will be served at 12:00 pm

Annual Open House
Sat. & Sun., 10/27 & 10/28   10am - 3pm

Pineridge Ski Fest
Sat. and Sun., 1/5 and 1/6

*Free lessons for beginners at 11am and 1pm - reduced rental rates
*Snowshoe Race - 3km, $5 registration fee 10:30 am. Snowshoe rentals available for $10 on Saturday
*Free xc downhill clinic by experienced Ski School Staff at 12:00 pm on Saturday & Sunday
*XC Ski Race - Traditional Classic 5km, $5 registration fee 12:30pm on Sunday
*Advance reservations required for all Ski Fest events - 283-3652

Winter Trails 2007 Celebration
Saturday 1/5

Free rentals and trail use (for first time skiers and snowshoers only. Limited equipment available, first come, first served) from 2:30 pm on, advance reservation required, 283-3652
*Lesson available at 2:45 pm with advance registration

Women's Learn to Ski Day

*Rent skis and get a free lesson - beginner, novice and intermediate.

Snowshoe Hike to Perigo Mountain
Saturday 1/19   10:30 am


*3 - 4 hour hike led by Pineridge instructor, requires moderate level of fitness
*Climbing elevation 1,891 feet
*View of the Catskills, Maycomber Mountain in NY, Mt. Greylock in MA, and the Albany area
*$25/person which includes snowshoe rental, $14/person without rental

Moonlight Snowshoe/Ski Tours

*Usually 2 or 3 days before the full moon
*Snowshoe tour leaves at 7pm, ski tour leaves at 7:15pm
*Moonlit and lighted trails, bonfire on the landing

Guided Back Country Ski Tour

*A 3 - 4 hour, 10 - 15k trip for intermediate and advanced skiers
*$20/person which includes area use after the tour; Rentals available if needed

Historic Snowshoe Hike
Sunday, 1/27   10:30am


*2 - 3 hour hike led by Pineridge instructor; beginners welcome
*Visit old farm site, mill dam, ice house, and hike the Troy-to-Hoosick Road of the late 1700's
*$25/person which includes snowshoe rental, $12/person without rental
*Pack a snack, beverage and wear warm clothing

FEBRUARY

Women's Skill Building Days
Monday, 2/4, 11:30 am


*Rent skis and get a free lesson - take your skiing to the next level

Children Learn To Ski Week
Tues.-Fri, 2/19-22 (School Vacation)


*For children ages 6 - 12, Get a $116 value for only $25.
*Sign up on Tuesday for 4 full days of discounted skiing, rentals and lessons
*$25/child includes free rentals and skiing for all 4 days
*Also includes lessons on Tues., Wed., and Thurs. at 11am,
*Lessons progressively more challenging as the children gain skills
*Parents may purchase a special 4-day area use for $40 (a $56 value)
